It is a particularly atmospheric location with very friendly, happy staff. It is a monastery and also breathes that atmosphere. The refektorium (speize raum) somehow gives a feeling how it must have been centuries ago. The single rooms are simple but have everything you need. Do expect extra luxury.
Well… if there is one thing that could be improved, it is the coffee machine. But it is not en deal breaker and really compensated well by the food and breakfast!!

This is an oasis of calm, truly beautiful place and gorgeous grounds to wonder in, our room was in the new part, modern clean and good WiFi 👍 Has a silent garden, so peaceful with the sun glinting through the trees 🌳 it has good undercover out of the way parking for motorcycles.
Our only issue really was no air conditioning, it was incredibly warm for a couple from Northern Ireland

Room was well equipped and comfortable
The dining facilities - given the room rate, we did not expect a canteen-style and, at times hectic, self service set up for meals. Evening meal option very basic
