Introducing Swallowdale Cottage, a charming two-bedroom farm building conversion located in the peaceful village of Levisham, near the historic town of Pickering, within the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. Bike store (on request). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children under 18 years old.. As you arrive at Swallowdale Cottage, you’ll be greeted by a south-facing enclosed garden, perfect for soaking up the sun. The cottage is thoughtfully designed, with all accommodations conveniently located on the ground floor.
Enter through the utility room, which serves as an ideal space for boots and outdoor clothing. Step into the well-equipped kitchen, where you can prepare delicious meals. The adjacent open-plan living room is spacious and features a dining area as well as a sofa and armchairs gathered around a wood burner, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere to unwind. Swallowdale Cottage offers two inviting bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed the other with a double bed.
A delightful holiday location within the North York Moors National Park, renowned for its dramatic landscapes, rolling hills, and vibrant heather moorlands. With easy access to the beautiful East coast, the city of York and other fascinating places.
Levisham itself is a quaint village, characterized by its rustic charm and friendly atmosphere. A country pub in the village serves delectable local fare. Numerous walks are available from the village and include the beautiful valley of Newtondale and the majestic Hole of Horcum. Cropton Forest and Dalby Forest are both on the doorstep and offer extensive walking and cycling opportunities.
Levisham is situated 7 miles North of Pickering, an old market town full of character containing a castle, museum and is the starting point of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway which takes visitors through Levisham Station on to Grosmont and Whitby.
A short drive will take you to the spectacular heritage coast, where rugged cliffs meet the North Sea. Explore picturesque coastal villages such as Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes and Runswick Bay, a hidden gem with sandy shores. Don’t forget to visit the historic town of Whitby (17 miles away), famous for its Gothic abbey, Captain Cook connections, 3 miles of sandy beaches, a colourful harbour and delicious fish and chips. Scarborough is 21 miles away offering excellent shopping and family entertainment.
