Summary:
Forest-framed A-frame with hot tub, fireplace, and a glowing firepit—perfect after leaf-peeping or riding the epic Galbraith & Lookout Mountain trails in our backyard. Two queen bedrooms under skylights, full kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and a deck for golden-hour hangs. Fairhaven dining nearby. ~1 hour to Mt. Baker Ski Area. Book fall dates now—best midweek rates.
The Space:
•Living: open-beam A-frame, wood-burning fireplace, leather seating, smart TV, woods view
•Sleep (upstairs): two queen bedrooms, each with AC, large skylights, cozy sitting areas
•Baths: 2 full baths (one up between bedrooms, one on main)
•Kitchen/Dining: fully equipped kitchen + custom live-edge dining table
•Outdoors: deck with teak seating; hot tub; landscaped side yard with string lights and flagstone firepit (ferns + rock walls = peak cozy)
•Vibe: deer sightings common; quiet, woodsy setting

•Dogs: up to 2 house-trained dogs (no cats). $25 per dog per night. Include pups in booking; keep off furniture/beds. No unattended dogs at the home. Pet fee added via quick alteration after booking.
•Firewood: bring a couple bundles of dry firewood + kindling for prime fires.

Although raining nonstop, the cozy home was a perfect refuge. The woodstove was crackling, the kitchen was well stocked and hearing the rain on the roof was lulling.

House was clean and and check in was easy. The bathrooms are tiny so it was hard to get ready. First day was awful cause neighbors were cutting down trees. Overall the house was nice but I am not sure if I would stay again. I found the house expensive for the size.
