About this house rental
Fantastic location in the midst of the ski area, with gorgeous mountain views, this spacious luxury fully furnished 4 bedroom property sleeps up to 8 people in 3 double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. The property benefits from a sauna to unwind after a days skiing or hiking.
Ground floor
The ground floor comprises a fully fitted kitchen and breakfast area, with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. Crockery, glasses, cutlery and pots & pans all included. Cozy sitting room with feature wood burning stove, dining area, television and wi-fi. One luxurious double bedroom with antique wardrobe and luxury bathroom with multi-point power shower, bath and wc complete the scene.
First floor
Two luxurious hand carved-wood double bedrooms with fitted cupboards and balcony, one large twin (two single beds) room with basin and balcony, luxury bathroom with vanity unit, bath and wc, a separate wc, and shower room with multi-point power shower.
Basement
Sauna room with changing room and shower. Wood store, laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Plenty of storage space for skis etc. Ski boots and sticks available.
Environs
There is swimming and boating on the nearby Pillersee lake and an indoor swimming pool in the village centre. All-year round tobogganing is available and the chalet is situated right next door to the Strasserwirt International Riding School, that not only provides riding lessons but also horse-drawn carriage rides in the area. Cycle riding around the lake is also very popular and there are several bike hire outlets available.
The nearest ski slope, Buchensteinwand is only a 3-minute drive away and perfect for children and beginners. Just 20 minutes drive away is the popular Steinplatte ski resort with its huge range of activities including hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing and of course skiing or snowboarding. The ski-lifts operate all summer, so you can take the chairlift to the top of the mountain, and take a leisurely walk down!
St Ulrich offers excellent shops and restaurants, and Zardinis Schindeldorf, one of the best après-ski venues in Austria is just 10 minutes away. The Larchenhof 5-star hotel and restaurant is 25 minutes away and perfect for ‘special’ occasions.
