25 minute walk into town along the canal

Overlooked by other houses

Nice open plan and spacious, light and airy. Good utilities within apartment. Separate bedroom from main living room. Only 10 minute walk away from the town centre via a canal walk which was lovely.

We found it very hot during the afternoon when we returned from days out due to large glass window frontage, however this did cool down very quickly when we opened the door and back bedroom window to allow air flow.

Good size apartment

Poor customer service prior to stay, hefty ‘security deposit’ taken (not yet sure when this will be returned), lots of sugar and a few teabags left but no coffee in the flat, front door code seemed to be slightly temperamental

It did have the facilities needed and looked very presentable.

Sadly quiet time wasn’t. At 2am in the morning there were extremely drunk people being very roudy, which concerned me being disabled. On top of this there were no disabled spaces, I needed to take up two spaces with my blue badge to which I was contacted about due to other people complaining. Sadly there is also building work going on literally outside the properties, which I wasn’t made aware of and that alone wasn’t easy. Part of the property had cobwebs which haven’t been cleaned in quite sometime, an oversight maybe, but I always speak with honesty and leave a property as I found it, clean and organised.
