A local pub just a few minutes walk away, a restaurant and the well-known Toll Bar fish & chip shop. Located near scenic walking trails & charming villages, the cottage provides a perfect base for exploring nature & the wider Peak District area.

Nestled in the scenic village of Grindleford (S32), this cosy 2-bedroom cottage offers peace, comfort, and easy access to stunning walks, local pubs, and famous national park attractions. Ideal for families, couples, or small groups looking to unwind and explore.
Our property offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience - whether you’re here to explore the beautiful surroundings, enjoy a peaceful retreat, or spend quality time with loved ones.
Newly renovated kitchen with all appliances. A coffee machine and a cafetière. Full-sized fridge freezer and a dishwasher. Good-sized lounge with 6 seating dining area and comfy sofa. A sitting room that doubles as a bedroom with a quality bed, settee and desk area for work if needed. Upstairs has a master ensuite, a large family bathroom and a 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds that can easily be put together. Under the stairs storage for muddy boots, coats, with a washing machine.

A 20-minute drive leads to the grandeur of Chatsworth House, with its stunning gardens and stately charm. The nearby village of Hathersage (5 mins) is a delight, with cosy cafés and even an outdoor swimming pool. For sweeping waterside views, Ladybower Reservoir is only 20 minutes away.

We welcome well-behaved pets, but we just ask that they are not allowed on soft furniture or upstairs for hygiene reasons.
Should any damage arise, there may be an extra fee for soiled or damaged items.
There is an open fire available, so feel free to bring along any fuel you may need for cosy evenings.

The cottage was lovely, plenty of room, the kitchen was well stocked with crockery, glasses etc. the bathroom was stunning, however issues I reported to the Management Team about the hot water not consistently running hot, meant having a shower was’t pleasant or a bath after our long walks was impossible and spoiled our stay. I would like to think the boiler has be repaired now as well as the broken kitchen tap. If these had all been in good working order our stay would have been fantastic.
