Rivendale Lodge Retreat

We personally enjoyed ( 💯 ! ) 100% caters for pets! We had a 4 bed, 3 bathroom lodge with Jacuzzi (no 73) very close to the parking spaces for our lodge and a short walk to the facilities which is a small reception/shop/restaurant/bar/pool table/quiz night/music night/dog shower/dog station with free treats and towels. Bath robes can be hired, and the lodges with jacuzzi chemicals are checked twice a day and can be used until 11pm curfew as they have lights. The bar restaurant are not always open, so check what's available when you stay - however we had a call from the receptionist before our stay to tell us what we could hire or needed to bring and what was available regarding food/restaurant. All lodges are not much more than a few minutes' walk away 😊 each with very quiet location and quiet/private area. One has a jacuzzi with a roof cover and outdoor twinkle lights. However, book well in advance if you want this one !! They all get fully booked all year! If you want more facilties than this and local shops to walk to this is not the place for you! Brilliant location for a Peak District walking/rambing/cycling holiday!! We wanted a retreat, which it most definitely is !! We took crafts with us to do in the lodge. Puzzles available to borrow in bar/reception. We had a car however we would likely bring our bicycles next stay! It's a fantastic break away from daily life and the chaos going on in life and the World 🌎 - 🤔 this is providing you switch off the news & TV, which might be difficult because there is a TV in every room except bathrooms !! You won't regret this retreat holiday ! Our dog made lots of dog friends, and every holiday guest we met and chatted to were very much pet friendly and were extremely understanding of our neary 2 year old maltese rescue dog's aversion to unknown male humans and some women! (The bark can be a bit scary if you are not ready for it!

Dog Friendly Oasis in High Peaks ! Near Thor's Cave, Bakewell/Buxton/Cromford/Ashbourne/Chatsworth House and countryside easy access to cities in Derbyshire Staffordshire Nottinghamshire ... if you have a car and like to drive!
