Peaceful sage green accents and warm wood tones bring the beauty of the nearby forest in. A primary bedroom with a walk-in shower on the main floor and two designated remote work spaces upstairs make Dogwood Cottage a fantastic option for folks with mobility challenges or those looking to work-from-home from the beach. No matter how much remote work is on your agenda, a private, spacious hot tub awaits in the backyard when it’s time to sign off.
The open concept kitchen, living, and dining rooms are the perfect place to gather with your favorite people, whether you are curled up on the sofa, reading a book by the fire, building a puzzle at the dining table, or crafting a meal in the kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen is well-stocked for a variety of culinary adventures, and seating at the kitchen counter makes it easy to get the kiddos involved.
Grab a cup of coffee and head outside to the covered front porch, located just off the open-concept space. Facing the woods, the front porch is a peaceful place to relax as you listen to the sound of the ocean in the distance traveling up the Elk Creek ravine. The porch’s southern exposure allows for soaking up all-day sun. When the stars come out, head to the backyard to roast marshmallows around the fire pit.

The home was the perfect fit for 4 teenagers and me. Plenty of room, clean, well stocked and all the extras made our stay focused on enjoying just being together. The one thing I did not know when booking the house or maybe overlooked was one side of the house (the "front") faces nothing but a gorgeous forest. At night all you can hear is the frogs and the ocean sitting on the porch while star gazing. It was such a pleasant surprise. The town is amazing but the privacy and detachment from everything else sitting there, I thought was a huge plus to this place. Thank you.
