Very nice apartment and wonderful host
Wi-Fi was not working despite all efforts from the host and mobile reception in the town is not good

The location of the house couldn’t have been better – just a two-minute walk from the beach, and with everything else right around the corner. Each morning we picked up fresh bread from a small bakery and fruit at a local farmers’ market only about two hundred meters away. Two mini-markets are within a short walking distance for daily needs, while for larger shopping we drove just 12 minutes to the Famila superstore in San Vito dei Normanni.
The atmosphere in the area is truly charming – the Italian people were always kind and willing to help, regardless of the language barrier. A few polite words in Italian go a long way. The location also makes a perfect base for exploring: we visited the beautiful historic towns of Ostuni, Alberobello, Otranto and Bari, and enjoyed snorkeling the countless stunning beaches along the coastline.
Our host, Gabriele, made the experience even more special. He welcomed us warmly with local specialties to taste, gave us great tips to get the most out of our holiday and ensured everything was perfect during our stay.
The apartment is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly during the hottest days of summer, and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking (though we often enjoyed dining out in the evenings). The street-side terrace was nice, and the washing machine was useful for a family stay. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras: coffee pods for the Nespresso machine, sun loungers and beach games, and that even in peak season we always found parking right in front of the house.
Not everything in the apartment is new, but for us that was part of the charm and made the place feel home.
