Host & Stay - Dotty's Coastal Retreat

The apartment is in a lovely location, very near the bay and the pubs in Staithes. It was great having 2 en-suite bedrooms, and the living room was really spacious. It was very well equipped with thoughtful touches like milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. A parking pass was provided so we didn’t have to pay to park. Trudy was so friendly and helpful. She even arranged that we could use the charging point in the residents part of the carpark. Trudy also runs Dotty’s Tea Room below the apartment, which is well worth a visit or two! Excellent cake!

The stairs are very steep as you’d expect in an old property and it’s a steep hill to walk up to the car park, but we were able to drive down to unload and load our bags at the start and end of our stay.

Excellent. Home from home. Clean, spacious and the hosts had covered every possible need. A great little touch was milk and biscuits on arrival.

Nothing. Couldn’t complain about a single thing.

Great central location, warm and comfortable accommodation, cosy beds and a friendly host. Everything was modern and worked well.

Everything was great. Maybe some fresh milk in the fridge would be nice, but a very minor point.
