Absolutely gorgeous, the view of the lake is stunning. Great destination with plenty to do around. The pod itself has everything you’d need for a few nights away; Tea, coffee, milk sugar, plates, cups, cutlery, frying pan, kettle, toaster, microwave, a mini hob, fridge and mini freezer with ice, wine glasses, hairdryer, straighteners, toothpaste, shower jel, they even had monopoly and a deck of cards and also a tv with Netflix etc. There’s a hottub and dressing gowns too and towels. Little seating area outside and there’s a picnic beach that had a metal bit on where you could bring a disposable bbq. There is also free parking! Was only a 20 minute drive from slieve gullion forest park which we decided to go and do the drive up the mountains, the view was incredible and we even saw sheep on the way up! Would highly recommend The Rocks!

If I am being really picky I didn’t like the way the car park wasn’t paved it was all stones and rocks which I don’t like driving over Incase I ruin my tires but apart from that there was absolutely nothing I could say bad about this place, it was just beautiful

The pod was immaculately clean, incredibly warm, and surprisingly spacious. Having a smart TV/private hot tub/equipped kitchenette made it feel like a luxury hotel room in the heart of nature!If you want to disconnect, unwind, and wake up in tune with nature, this is the place to be. Highly recommend.

Great location, easy to find and loads of parking. Perfect for a relaxing night away.

The place needed some maintenance, the hob was smashed in one corner and cracked across. The bathroom door didn’t run in its guide and therefore closes properly. Aswell as wooden locker out side that held the bins was dropping to bits. The was also no plates although they’d left all the things you might forget to allow you to cook eg cooking oil very helpful
