This is a warm and cosy house, with all the things we wanted for a weekend break in Nottingham visiting the Christmas market and the castle. Very convenient for frequent buses into the city too and a Wetherspoons just a 10-15 min walk away.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Amazing host! Nice location, lovely welcome pack and basket, well stocked, lovely garden, amazing bath, good sized TV
THE BED!!!! Sadly, the bed in the larger bedroom was probably the worst I’ve ever slept in. It squeaked on every single move. The mattress was terribly hard and the bedding was very thin. I had to sleep on top of the duvet and use the one from the other bedroom to cover me. If I had someone else staying in the second bedroom I honestly don’t think I would’ve stayed for the whole duration. It’s sad because there was lots nice about the place but because of the bed, I wouldn’t stay again and it really ruined my experience.
Also, having no net curtains made me feel very exposed and not cosy, especially in the living area.
Lastly, the neighbours were loud at times, especially the dog barking next door at midnight and the waking me up at 8am.
