Charming studio with terrace in the heart of Turin, a few steps from Piazza San Carlo and the Egyptian Museum.
The apartment is located on the first floor of a historic building equipped with a lift, which was the seat of the Italian Gas Company until 2006. Sophisticated, comfortable and refined in every detail, it consists of a day/ night area that is furnished with a queen-size bed and a sofa, a TV, a dining table and a modern kitchen equipped with an oven, a kettle and a microwave. A bathroom with a shower completes the layout.
The highlight of this accommodation is the terrace including a relaxation area and a dining area, where guests can relax and have meals in the open air.
The name Veló ("bicycle" in French) pays tribute to a find dating back to the war period. During the Second World War the building housed an underground air-raid shelter, inside which they found two bicycles that, exploiting the production of electricity through dynamo, kept the rooms illuminated and ventilated during emergencies.
At guests' disposal amenities such as free wifi, private bike parking, washing machine, air conditioning and heating.
*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.

This apartment is perfectly located. We were able to walk to museo de Cinema, Egypt museum, central market, palazzo reale, and lots of restaurants and great neighborhoods. Spacious apartment just as in the Vrbo app. The management company was not as responsive as we would hope. We had difficulty checking in. Were able to fine the unit with the help of the building manager, not the management company. Also, there was confusion. About how the air conditioner worked. A wonderful man named Marchenzo came out an attempted to fix it but in the end it was controlled by the property owner and once he was reached, it worked.

Perfect location for exploring Torino. Unit was great with a few issues that may not affect all travelers. I would have preferred a window or door with screens that I could open (the only option was to keep door open, no screen). Also, kitchen is minimally equipped with utinsils… like no bread knife. Response from host was nonexistent after check in.
