We loved the location, the spacious main room, the cleanliness of the apartment, the comfortable beds and the well equipped kitchen. This is an ideal apartment for a family or group of young fit friends. It's in an ideal location for visiting all the attractions of Lille and close to restaurants and shops.
There should have been more information about the apartment layout. There were six of us ranging from late 60's to 90. There are two sets of very long steep stairs to reach the apartment and then the bedrooms and one bedroom is only accessible via a vertical ladder. The dishwasher was full of limescale and wouldn't clean properly. More hand towels would have been helpful. We were fortunate that one of us had a QR reader or we couldn't read the property instructions.

The size of the property was great for 6 adults and two kids.
There was a noise and vibration which was very noticeable in the room closest to the stairs on the second level. We assumed this was associated with the pipework located outside.

The quirky design and the location.
It was a little annoying only having 1 loo for 6 people upstairs. It needs to be clearer how inaccessible the property is - the hallways are tiny and there are lots of steep stairs and one bedroom is located essentially up a ladder!
