Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig am Rand der Altstadt, die Sehenswürdigkeiten des Stadtzentrums wie Dom, Rathaus, Alte Mainbrücke etc. sind fußläufig erreichbar, öffentliche Parkplätze sind in der Seinsheim-Garage 100m entfernt verfügbar und kosteten uns 33€ für 2 Nächte. Check-in gewöhnungsbedürftig, da kein Personal vor Ort, hat aber funktioniert mit Schlüsseltresor. Das Zimmer(#103) fanden wir sauber, ansprechend renoviert und das nötigste was man so braucht war vorhanden, nicht weniger aber auch nicht mehr.
Das Hotel wird mit minimalem Personalaufwand gefüht, es gibt weder eine Rezeption noch Frühstück, noch irgendwelche Infos z. B. über Gastronomie in der Umgebung oder Sehenswürdigkeiten. Weder das Zimmer noch das Hotel laden zum Verweilen außerhalb der Schlafenszeit ein. Fazit: Wenn man einen Abendtermin hat und am nächsten Morgen gleich wieder fährt, ist das Hotel, moderate Ansprüche vorausgesetzt, nahezu ideal. Wenn der Aufenthalt länger sein soll, eignet sich dieses Haus nur dann, wenn man außer einem Schlafplatz nichts weiter erwartet.
