Location was great: old neighborhood near downtown. Close to everything we wanted to visit. Quiet neighborhood. 3 bathrooms! :)
Pillows. Beds were comfortable, but more/comfier pillows are needed for the twin beds.

The house itself is nice, with comfortable furniture and good appliances. We also enjoyed the location, as it was extremely close to downtown, the Riverwalk, the Pearl, the museums, etc. The neighborhood was a mix of historic homes (some beautifully restored and some not) and newer homes. The Lockwood Dignowity Park is right around the corner, which was perfect for the kids and the dog.
The host was nice and responsive to my questions.
This property could benefit from a property manager, as there were a number of items that could have been significantly improved with a little TLC and minor investments. The visible areas of the place were clean when we arrived, but the pantry and laundry room required cleaning. There were missing lightbulbs, very light furnishings and an odd room numbering/lock situation in the twin bedrooms. With minor repairs, the addition of a coffee table in the living room and a few more plates, bowls, silverware and a refresh of the bed linens and pillows, the home would be much more comfortable.
The hot tub was not functional and clearly had not been for some time, and it was not communicated prior to the stay. Also, there was no video game as pictured in the photos. There is a backyard, but it is mostly consumed by a seating area, the non-functional hot tub and the outbuilding with 2 beds (no bath in it)--not much grass.
