About this apartment rental
Fall asleep to the sounds of the Pacific Ocean in the heart of the beautiful historic town of Mendocino, California. This furnished studio apartment is perfect for 1 or 2 people looking for a unique California coastal getaway. You will be steps away from enjoying quick access to the Mendocino Headlands State Park, which surrounds the town on three sides. The park offers a blend of gentle trails, rugged coastline, sandy beaches, spectacular ocean sunsets and seasonal whale watching. At Big River Beach, check out “Catch a Canoe and Bicycles, Too!” for canoe, kayak or bicycle rentals.
Rental includes this beautiful, standalone furnished studio apartment adjacent to the main house, with separate private entry. All accommodations are private other than the shared washer/dryer and garage. The garage has direct access to the apartment entrance. The main house is a vacation home for the owners and is occasionally occupied.
VACATIONING IN MENDOCINO
Everything you need in Mendocino is a short walk away from the studio apartment. Enjoy the many specialty boutique shops, galleries, restaurants, and cafes that offer a variety of art, clothing, and gifts along with local and traditional fare. Walk across the street to the Mendocino Art Center that hosts an exceptional gallery, visual art classes and seasonal theatre productions.
Visit historic sites and famous locations including the nearby house from the TV series Murder She Wrote, starring Angela Lansbury. Exhibits and photographs at the Ford House and Kelley House museums will carry you back to the 1800’s when Mendocino was a sawmill town that supplied redwood lumber to other parts of California and the world.
Also within walking distance is the U.S. Post Office, a full-service grocery market and hardware store, a community library, along with several excellent restaurants and cafes.

THIS IS A NO SMOKING PROPERTY. Smoking tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes, vaping, etc. is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. Violating the no smoking policy will incur a $300 cleaning and deodorizing fee.
