This small castle of the XVIIth listed historical monument was completely renovated in 2013.
The door consists of a portal docked two pavilions gives access to a courtyard with the bottom of the house and garden.
With its old oak staircase, its whitewashed walls, floors covered with old tiles, period furniture, the castle of Chevennes has found the charm and warmth of the past, comfort and more .. ..
The house (7 people) comprises on the ground floor a living room (with a bed), a large kitchen / dining-room, a large bedroom with its bathroom, and upstairs two double bedrooms and a bathroom. Bathroom. Independent room in one of the pavilions (1 person)
Trails lined with ancient oaks give access to three ponds classified Natura 2000 where we can surprise ducks, geese, herons, but also turtles of an endangered species called cistudes d'europe
This charming cottage can accommodate 7 to 8 people.
The Chateau des Chevennes is located 20 km from Moulins, in the Allier.

Isolés de toute consternation et dès besoins de la bourgeoisie nous avons vécus notre séjour sans commotions et avec le savoir-vivre de la noblesse dans ce château charmant et plein d’art, d’ambiance mais aussi avec tous les fascilités modernes de haute qualité ! Sans exagérer, on se sentait très privilégié de pouvoir demeurer ici, même si ce n’est que pour une semaine seulement !
