The interior is a testament to craftsmanship, boasting hand-made woodworks and a fully equipped kitchen with a double-burner hob, fridge, kettle, and a Sage coffee machine. The living space includes a unique dining area, and the bathroom offers a spacious walk-in shower, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as it is memorable.

Very nice place to stay - we enjoyed it very much.Also the hot tub was nice - it was afterwards a bit difficult tor dry the towels since it was raining that evening. It might be a good idea to provide more towels. We didnt like that dogs from other guests were running all over the loaction.

At first, I was a little nervous because the place seemed so small, and this was my first time staying at a place like this. Still, I didn't regret one moment, I would stay here again if I ever come back to this area. The location was perfect for hiking. Balmoral estate. The place itself was spotless, with a comfortable, loft bed and sofa. Sitting on the porch with morning coffee and evening drinks was perfect, especially on the swing. The shower water/hotness was not a problem, and we found it enjoyable. The location was close enough to Ballater for dinner and drinks. We did a fantastic hike and had lunch near Braemar. We also visited the Royal Lochnagar Distillery, where I had an excellent mixed drink with whiskey, despite not being a whiskey drinker. In contrast, my friend enjoyed the tubing in a hot tub, which was a nice feature after hiking to relax and enjoy nature. Also, the ability to walk down and sit your feet into the River Dee was a fun adventure. If you are looking for a more sustainable, local, quiet stay in a small house in the Highlands, I highly recommend this place staff and owners were extremely friendly, accommodating and communicative

I went for 2 night with my partner and our dog. We had the best time and would definetly love to go back. Highly recommend! :)
