The apartment itself was fine, except that we could not get the cooktop to work.
First it is NOT IN HONFLEUR, even though it advertises itself as being in Honfleur. You cannot reasonably walk to Honfleur from the apartment, and parking in Honfleur is quite difficult which is why we picked this place because it was supposed to be in Honfleur as advertised.
Secondly the front door lock is broken and should be replaced, Instead the host sent a page long description of how to jiggle the lock to get it to work. It took the better part of an hour for us to get into the apartment.
Third you will hear every car that drives by. It is NOT QUIET.
Finally we could not get the cooktop to work. The host sent a video. We tried what the video did. It didn't work. The host then responded that "they had only had this cooktop for a year". I don't understand why that means he didn't know how it worked. We never did succeed in cooking there.
