About this house rental
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Completely separate home with own driveway in the middle of the red woods, but 5 min away from downtown. Only 100 yards to a wonderful trail with views of the Silicon Valley

Nice property. Enjoyable stay.
Lighting in bathroom is not conducive to putting on makeup (drawing on eyebrows, which I have to do)! Couldn't see what I was doing. Light in shower great but light over mirror almost non-existant. Had trouble blow drying/styling hair with no light to see what I was doing as well. I did wish I could have gotten regular TV stations on the smart TV since I don't subscribe to streamling services. So, no TV for me while I was there. I did watch a few shows on my computer, so that was fine.
At first acorns hitting the roof scared me. Not used to hearing those thuds! But I got used to it once I figured out what the sounds were. I wish there had been a patio to sit on, but that door was locked and is actually part of the owner's property, which is understandable.
Bart is a nice, friendly guy and seems accomodating. If I could change one thing, it would be the poor lighting in the bathroom over mirror.

Bart’s cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Close to many local attractions. We hiked the Maisie’s Peak trail, visited Garrod Winery and spent a day in Santa Cruz. Although we were close to everything, the cottage felt very secluded and close the nature. The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend!
