Beautiful Home in Burnaby (Metrotown Area)

The host is very helpful for us and provided an additional refrigerator. She allowed to use to checked in couple of hours before without any additional charges.

It's very affordable! It's a nice, safe neighborhood. Walking distance to a big mall with a Walmart and close to central park. Free street parking right in front of the house. The lady we contacted is pretty accommodating :)

The bathroom and shower were shared with multiple tenants. (I may be wrong but it feels like there are some nightly rental rooms and some rooms that have full time tenants.) The lock on the bedroom door was tiny and didn't feel secure. The ad said access to a dining area and we assumed that meant the kitchen table and when we asked about it it felt like they didn't really want us to use it. The quiet time is 11pm-8am so we waited until 8 to have breakfast with our young children (young children obviously make noise). The children were relatively quiet, not yelling/screaming, just running around the table a little and one of the other tenants of the house that seem like they live there full time (close to the kitchen) came out looking angry and said something about keeping the kids quiet. He had a heavy accent I couldn't really understand. Overall it's a nice clean, affordable place to sleep. It was kinda awkward being there though as I felt like an intruder in someone else's house.
