Royal Domus Perugia - via Mazzini

This is a delightful apartment situated right in the heart of the mediaeval city, overlooking a lively pedestrian area filled with restaurants and cafés. Its location is excellent — only a short walk from the main square, taxi rank, Mini Metro, and the escalators leading down to the bus and railway stations, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The apartment itself is spacious, thoughtfully appointed, and very comfortable, with excellent soundproofing that ensures a peaceful stay despite the central location. The furniture and beds were particularly comfortable, and we very much enjoyed the wonderful outlook from both the front and rear of the apartment. Guests should be aware that access involves a fairly steep climb of nearly 90 steps, which may be worth considering if travelling with heavy luggage. However, we felt the elevated position was part of the charm and more than rewarded by the lovely views and unique setting. The owners were exceptionally attentive and welcoming throughout our stay, checking in regularly and responding promptly and helpfully to any questions we had. Their care and communication added greatly to the overall experience.

83 traptreden naar boven en geen lift. Tweede slaapkamer had geen kast of dressoir om kleren op te ruimen. Alleen twee flesjes water in de koelkast, voor dit bedrag had er wel een fles of wat lekkers klaar kunne liggen.

A stunning location in the heart of Perugia’s historic center, easily accessible from the parking lots via several escalators; the host’s directions were very clear and easy to follow. The apartment is very spacious and tastefully furnished. We had access to a coffee machine with capsules, as well as a kettle with tea bags. The welcome was very thoughtful, with a small bottle of chilled water for each of us and a piece of chocolate—a very nice touch.

No complaints—everything was perfect. Keep in mind that there are no elevators to get to the floor, so I recommend not bringing too much carry-on luggage.

De douche had een zeer zwakke straal (4 dunne straaltjes). De keuken was niet goed uitgerust en ook in de woonkamer stond te weinig meubilair (geen salontafels, bijzettafels) wat onpraktisch en ongezellig was. Er is geen terras (zoals vermeld wordt in de omschrijving), enkel een smal balkonnetje zonder uitzicht waar vuilnisbakken op staan.
