We loved the Mt Mitchell cabin as it sits on top of a hill and has a beautiful porch that overlooks the mountains, The fall foliage at this time of year is spectacular. Our cabin was perfect for a family of four. It’ was clean and beds were very comfortable.
The property is just 2 minutes from the expressway and 20 min to downtown Ash like and Biltmore Estate
I would only encourage arriving at the cabin during the daylight- we arrived late at night after a ling drive and the cabin is on a hill which was a little nerve racking driving in the darkness but once you know the route it’s fine
