The peaceful setting, tall ceilings and modern design create a space that you'll be looking forward to after a long day of adventure in the Gorge. There's a great hiking trail, whitewater rafting and fishing all within a stone's throw from the door.
The Neighborhood:
This home is in a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes North of White Salmon. There are about 10 homes in the vicinity, several of them have farm animals, and the road is gravel. Very peaceful.
Getting Around:
There is abundant parking at the property. At least four cars can fit in the driveway and a car/SUV can fit in the attached garage. The last half mile of road is gravel and the driveway is gravel.

When we arrived the host met us outside, very friendly. He showed us how to get to the door and walked around showing us where everything was. It was very quiet and serene, we had a great stay!

This is a cute little place that is neat and clean.
We got there about 3:30 pm. The cleaning crew knocked on our door at 6pm because they hadn’t cleaned it yet. When we came in the bed was slept in and there were dishes on the counter. It looked like the previous guest had washed them. So it was a little strange that they couldn’t get it cleaned before we got there.
The bed is as hard as a rock. The big thick pillows on the bed were also really thick and stiff. Not very comfortable. The neighbors are building a shed next door. So the noise was pretty loud till dark and then again in the morning. There are chickens and turkeys across the road and we could hear them too.
The place is nice, but quite small. Perfect for 2 people. Not super quiet, but ok. A fire pit would be really nice. Not much around, but close to Hood River.
Overall we enjoyed our stay with a few exceptions.
