Ideal base for families with pets and country pursuits yet just 45 minutes to central Edinburgh. One double bedroom, one bunk bed room and either twin or double for third bedroom. Open plan kitchen and living area with wood burning stove and conservatory. A large fenced garden is loved by pet owners. Key box entry allows arrival at leisure.

Our family have just returned from a lovely four night stay at Mauldslie Farm Cottage. Remote, but idyllic location. The cottage will not disappoint.Cosy due to highly effective heating and lovely blankets to snuggle. Comfortable due to the quality of furniture and bedding. Large enclosed garden and conservatory where our three Labradors could play and sleep. Lots of places to walk, but we chose the drive for simplicity...and for the stunning view of the reservoir. Kitchen is well equipped and has whatever you need for simple meals. Will definitely return!

We absolutely loved and enjoyed the peace away from the city. We loved the lambs and their mammas! It is a great great place to stay. We were there 5 nights and was perfect.

The property is very cute! It is more secluded than I realized it would be (which is on me for not doing my research). The road to get to the house is a little rough in some areas, especially if you’re in a smaller sedan. The shower also did not drain well. But overall great views and very quiet if you’re looking for something relaxing!
