Saxelbye House - Cosy 3 Bed Home near City Centre

Location is excellent, close to town but in a quiet estate. New build house with neutral decor. Nice to have a garden and parking space. Shower was always hot. Plenty of seating. Downstairs communal living space is nice and big.

Lots of little weird niggles. Living room TV mounted on opposite wall to corresponding plugs and aerial, meaning there are random plugs high up in the middle of the wall, same in the bedrooms so it was difficult to have phones charging by the bedside. Table in main bedroom blocked the door from opening. No frying pan or chopping board, but two potato peelers. Dining table inexplicably jammed under the TV instead of in the massive empty space in the kitchen area. No cleaning products (despite them being advertised). Two toilet rolls for five people for six days. One duvet put on a 90° angle so the cover came off in the night. Just lots of little things that weren't enough to ruin the trip but we did almost feel like a prank was being played on us. Bedroom blinds do virtually nothing so woke up with the sun and baking hot during a June visit.
