Everything from the very beginning of the stay til the end was as I expected: Exceptional hosts, beautiful garden to spend some time with friends and the host, decent service. Everything was clean and the surrounding area was quiet and calm.

The host, Akis, was very friendly, polite, and responsive when contacted directly.
The apartment is old but acceptable, with clean bedding and towels.
The air fryer was a helpful bonus and worked well.
The area is quiet, and the general location is convenient.
We extended our stay for two more nights, and the host offered a small discount
For the first two full days, we had no running water at all. Not a drop – no shower, no toilet, nothing. This was a major issue.
Although the host eventually installed a pump and resolved the water issue, it should never have lasted that long. Basic access to water is a necessity, not a luxury.
Booking.com support responded only on the ninth day of our ten-night stay, despite the claim that they answer within 24 hours. Their assistance was too late to help.
The apartment was not properly cleaned. The bathroom had visible dirt, and there were pieces of toilet paper in the sink when we arrived (suggesting it was just wiped down quickly with a tissue instead of being properly cleaned). The kitchen sink was also dirty.
The stovetop was practically unusable. It took the whole two hours to cook frozen rice, French fries, and chicken fillet, and I had to finish the chicken in the air fryer to ensure it was safe to eat.
The listing mentions a kitchen, but in reality, cooking is almost impossible on the provided equipment.
The bed is only 190 cm long, so anyone taller than that cannot stretch out properly. Tall guests, be aware.

Ho apprezzato molto la gentilezza, cortesia e disponibilità dell’host. È sempre pronto a dare ottimi consigli, ci ha accolti con un saluto cordiale anche a mezzanotte per il check-in e ha prontamente cambiato gli asciugamani su mia richiesta dopo tre giorni. Sempre sorridente e disponibile nel fornire informazioni su cosa visitare nei dintorni. Anche la posizione della struttura è comoda: la spiaggia più vicina si raggiunge a piedi in soli 300 metri.
Per quanto riguarda l’appartamento, a mio avviso necessita di una ristrutturazione. Ci sono diverse parti arrugginite, dalla rubinetteria alle sedie, alla piastra dei fornelli. L’acqua del rubinetto non è potabile, esce di colore marrone e probabilmente i tubi contengono ruggine, un problema che mi è stato confermato dall'host come diffuso nel villaggio. Inoltre, non c’è forno né microonde, e il frigo ha una piccola celletta freezer che non si apre a causa del ghiaccio accumulato. Allego delle foto per rendere chiari questi aspetti ai futuri ospiti.
In sintesi, consiglio questa struttura soprattutto per l’host eccezionale e la posizione, ma invito a fare attenzione agli aspetti strutturali dell’appartamento.
