La Bella - Holiday Apartment in Garda

The appartment and furniture is new and it has 3 bedrooms. The design is clean and contemporary. There is a parking spot even for 2 cars in front of the property, which is important because for this location you'll need a car. There is nothing so interesting on walking distance. Still there is a nice family restaurant nearby for a dinner. There is big terrace with sunbeds which we didn't use, as we were in the autumn, but I imagine in the summer it will be usefull.

Тhe not so pleasant part was the overal policy of the property, and the staff attitude.. which was from politely cold to a little rude at some point. Be aware of the extra cost (read the fine print and all messages). The price doesn't include bed sheets and heating these are paid extra, this was unplesant surprise... I haven't met such policy in booking so far. Also there is final cleaning tax of 100eur, which is strange as they require basically to leave the appartment clean.. (trash collected, clean utensils etc.). The checkin time is relatively late 15:30, while the checkout is really early - at 9:00?!... we're on holiday, not on а military camp:) Another unpleasant surprise, they request 500eur deposit. It is refundable, if you comply with the rules of the house (which you receive on pdf, and are a little threatening). I met them to checkout, they requested for me to pay the deposit, and leave my credit card details on peace of paper to get refund... which is kind of rediculous (GDPR ?!). I refussed, instead I offered them to check the appartment before we leave, which they agreed reluctantly. For 15 eur per person for bed sheet, one of the sheets . had a stain. You have to collect trash separately and understand the schedule for trash collection. There are 4 types of trash but just one bin offered. This is more minor, but they don't have a broom in the appartment, so you can't clean by yourself, while there is no regular cleaning offered.

De netheid, de ligging (net buiten het drukke centrum van Garda), bakker om de hoek, winkel diu op weg naar het centrum, zalig restaurant op het einde van de straat, ondertussen een sleutelkluis aan de inkompoort, alles wordt netjes doorgestuurd via whatsapp, echt een huis om te genieten. We hebben er alleen geslapen aangezien we het hele Gardameer zijn rond geweest, maar echt leuk om savonds terug thuis te komen en nog na te praten over de dag op het mooie terras.

Als ik dan echt iets moet zeggen... We hebben even gezocht naar het reisbureau om de kosten nog gaan te betalen. Konden perfect met kaart betalen. Het reisbureau ligt dus vlak aan het water bij alle restaurantjes.
