The apartment was spacious and comfortable, it was clean and ideally located : within 15min walk of Colosseum and Circus Maximus, with metro station Piramide just at the corner of the street.
The owner was friendly and very quick to respond to any questions, before arrival as well as during our stay, and he spoke very good English.
The price was very cheap for this quality.

Our one-bedroom apartment (44 m²) was located somewhere between the ground floor and the basement level, so the windows and the door were always closed with shutters, but that didn’t bother us.
It’s very close to the city center, and there is a direct train from FCO Airport to Roma Ostiense station.
The host, Angelo, waited for us for a late check-in, and on departure he allowed us to leave our luggage in his storage room.
In the bedroom there was a wardrobe that smelled of mold. If it’s replaced, everything else is fine. The frying pans are old and all scratched, but that’s to be expected in a rental apartment.
