Great location, a few hundred metres from the sea and the coastal tram route. Very nice apartment, well-equipped kitchen, TV with multiple channels in Dutch, French and German, plus BBC 1 and 2. Most days we caught the 8.09 tram to Ostend station, which gave us plenty of time to buy tickets for the 8.42 towards Brussels, Bruges, Gent, Antwerp, Mechelen, Leuven etc.
The lighting was not optimal for reading - maybe a standing light in addition to the ceiling spots would have helped? Parking would probably normally have been very easy, as Duinenstraat is one of the few streets in the area that isn't restricted, but there was quite a lot of building work going on in the street when we were there. Perhaps the list of non-restricted streets in the very informative booking folder could be included in the information given when the booking is made?
