The host was available at the end of the phone to handle the challenge of different access codes that were sent to us. No time was lost in accessing the house. We kept in touch by SMS until the hand over the house.
It was very easy to find space to park the two cars that my party was using. There was a charger outside - which was very handy for one of our vehicles is electric. The local shop was at a walking distance - which helped sorting out breakfast.
All the rooms were very specious, and the living quarter and garden suitable for 9 visitors to have room to spare.
The only small issue is that the downstairs ensuite doesn't have an air extractor. This means that there air in the room was too humid and the steam from the bathroom hang in the air for longer than we wanted. We tried to open windows - which helped but being the ground floor this carries its own risks. A powerful air extractor, or at least a powerful but quiet dehumidifier/air purifier would solve this challenge.

Lots of space, very clean, and lovely and warm inside despite a cold January weather. Excellent to have 3 bathrooms, and the showers were all very nice and shampoo etc provided. Very convenient to charge my electric car. And the owner was very kind to let us check in a few hours early due to us arriving from the Netherlands after a long trip.
The cups could maybe do with replacing, lots of tea stains.
The bed in the downstairs bedroom was very low and made it difficult for one of our guests to get up from since she has mobility problems. Given that this room has the accessible shower room ensuite (which is perfect for wheelchair or reduced mobility guests), the bed should really be a bit higher off the ground.

Big enough for number of people wanting to stay. Drive way space. Location also pretty good
The house was not cleaned well enough or ready for purposes to let out for over £500 a night. Out of date food of over 2 years in cupboards. Half used things in fridge. Empty pizza box left on top of fridge. Crispy old sock in hall way. Utensils such as pans and oven trays were very old and smelt of what was last cooked on them. Strong aroma of food on arrival to the property and made the house smell of that when oven was put on. Some rooms ie upstairs bathroom
And a couple of bedrooms were to good standard and then the other places were outdated , marked, not up to scratch. Stayed away last year for the same amount of money and got much better value.
