The location is great: within reasonable walking distance to Kensington palace and gardens, Hyde Park, and the V&A. A wide variety of shops and restaurants just steps away. Our favourite coffee shop, Joe and the Juice, is a few doors down. Five Guys burgers litterally at the doorstep and Nando’s chicken a couple of doors down. The Scarsdale Tavern is worth the 10-minute walk for a pint and amazing food. The Design Museum is within a short walk, as well as Holland Park, which we discovered by happy accident one evening. We loved that it had 4 bedrooms and a large kitchen and living area, as were travelling with our kids and an elderly parent, so there was ample space for all to be comfortable. The hosts are lovely and very responsive. We signalled a cracked and leaking iron which had not previously been reported, and Vincenzo was quick to offer a replacement for the following day.
Once inside the building there are 3 flights of stairs to access the apartment, which can be somewhat challenging for anyone with mobility issues or heavy luggage. While we loved the centrality of the apartment, we did not expect so much noise to enter through the windows given we were a couple of floors off the main level. The windows are not well insulated for sound, and that was the only real negative about the apartment. We slept well the first night due to travel fatigue, but the following two nights we heard noise (police sirens, honking, some yelling) that disrupted sleep during the night. That said, we would likely stay here again due to the ample space and convenient location the apartment offers.

The house was very clean and nicely curated. Communication with the host was smooth and quick, and the location was great, close to the subway and easy to get around. Would definitely stay again!

-Locatie; in levendige straat met alle mogelijke winkels op loopafstand. Ook dicht bij metro, Royal Albert Hall en Kensington palace.
-Ruimte: 4 fijne slaapkamers met goede bedden en fijn linnengoed.
-Ruime woonkeuken en woonkamer.
-Communicatie met host: verliep vlot en correct
-Had iemand de trappen al genoemd😉?

El lloc era ideal per a 2 famílies, nosaltres érem 8 persones. La casa era agradable, estava dividida en 2 plantes, encara que els dos lavabos eren a la mateixa planta. La cuina era gran i espaiosa i la casa, en general, també, hem estat més vegades a Londres i és difícil trobar allotjaments d'aquesta mida. L'amfitrió va respondre amb molta rapidesa i educació quan li ho vam requerir.
Quan vam arribar a la casa, aquesta no estava neta. Havien canviat els llençols, tovalloles, etc., però s'havia fet una neteja molt superficial, molts per sota dels estàndards d'un allotjament com aquest (hi havia cabells als calaixos dels banys, greix a la cuina, forquilles i culleres brutes, forn i campana amb greix, alguna cassola inservible, pols a alguns racons...). Vam demanar a l'amfitrió una explicació i ens va enviar una persona per netejar el que estava malament i va canviar paelles, cassoles i alguna cosa més que no estava en condicions acceptables, i ho va fer el mateix dia que vam arribar, cosa que vam agrair, però nosaltres vam perdre la nostra primera tarda a Londres. Va ser una veritable pena fer una entrada així a l'apartament. L'amfitrió ens va oferir descomptar-nos la tarifa de la neteja a canvi d'una bona opinió a Booking, i li vam respondre que fes el que ell cregués, però que no afectaria aquesta opinió. No ens va fer el descompte finalment. L'amfitrió va ser amable i va respondre ràpidament quan ens vam queixar, però el mal ja estava fet, és l'amfitrió qui ha de revisar l'allotjament abans que arribin els clients, no han de ser els clients qui revisin la casa i li truquin perquè arregli el que hi ha malament.
