Two separate living quarters mere steps apart give guests many options for sleeping arrangements: the 3-bedroom main house used alone can sleep 11, with use of the airbed and futon/sofa bed, plus the seasonal cottage with kitchenette that can sleep 6, giving guests several options for sleeping arrangements. (NOTE: Local ordinances limit legal number of guests on property to a maximum total of 12.)
*(Mid-winter availability of cottage can vary due to sub-freezing temps affect on plumbing.)

Guests have access to the entire house, seasonal cottage, garage, and private backyard.
We like to greet you upon arrival to provide initial access. Once you're here, we will respect your privacy but are easily available to answer questions or give recommendations. We want you to have a 5-star stay!
There is a Kroger grocery store less than a mile west, along with a scattering of shops and small restaurants. And just a few blocks south is the historic and very popular Frankfort Avenue corridor, with so many great restaurants in all price ranges in both directions, and also unique boutiques and coffee shops. Worth exploring!
Downtown and EXPO are less than ten minutes away via side street or interstate. We are just blocks from the Frankfort Avenue corridor with easy access to Highlands and Saint Matthews, with all the shopping, dining, and entertainment those popular areas offer--definitely something for everyone within a short drive from this convenient location.
The left side of driveway entrance is shared with neighbor apartments, but the spaces to the right are strictly for The Hillcrest House. Guests have access to 2-car garage, a large parking space next to garage (best for truck or van), and the lower portion of the driveway for one car. (If an extra space needed, there is also room to park a car across the front of the garage.) NOTE: The 99-year old driveway is too narrow for modern cars, so just use bottom section.
