Outstanding time away at Kingswood Golf Lodges. Excellent location close to all major Yorkshire attractions, all within an hour or so drive. Lodge was lovely, with a fantastic hot tub, great bedding, and great kitchen facilities.

Lovely clean lodge which had everything you need for a home from home holiday with a nice bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival and nice white fresh smelling robes in the wardrobe. We had lodge number 5 which was very private, overlooking a large pond and a bit of the golf course with many hours of sunshine in the afternoons, it was a very tranquil place to sit. Although there is a motorway not too far away and a main road close by we got used to any traffic noises after the first day.The lodges are only a five minute easy drive away from Thorne, where there are plenty of supermarkets, shops and places to eat, we walked the canal most days which was lovely and peaceful.

This was a lovely sized cabin and perfect for our stay. However, there are quite a few minor maintenance issues which could easily be fixed and/or addressed by the owner. I spoke with someone who works with the cabins and was told the issues I told him of had been reported to the owner on several occasions but nothing was being done about it.Aside from these (a competent handyman would have them all fixed in a morning) it was a lovely cabin. Although it didn't really effect us, the proximity to the main road is not advertised and, unless you are a heavy sleeper, you will be woken by passing traffic in the mornings.I would return again but not to the same cabin unless the maintenance issues are addressed.
