From Assens you can take the ferry for a day trip to the picturesque island of Baagø, where you can enjoy the beautiful nature and the atmospheric marina. Assens is surrounded by a beautiful hilly landscape. The peninsula Helnæs is located about 15 km south of Assens, here you will find untouched nature, ideal if you like fishing or hiking.
