Our host was so gracious with our late arrival. Unbeknowst to us, we arrived on the evening of the San Matteo festival and so we couldn't get to the parking garage the host had kindly organised for us. We couldn't even get to the apartment as there were cars and blocked roads everywhere. Our host was super responsive and tried to help us so much, in the end we had to park far away and walk in. She waited for us and we were super appreciative of this. The apartment is quite nice - decorated well and beds were comfy, enough space for our family of 5 for 2 nights. The 3 kids even got their own beds which was great. Great location, just one road back from the main shopping street and not far from the ferry terminal.
The street is a bit of an alleyway so it felt a little unsafe late at night, fine if you're in a group though. No lounge area, fine for a couple of nights. We stayed in a lot of places in Europe and this was the only one where the host did not speak any English which would have been really difficult had we not had Google Translate - great for an authentic Italian experience though :)

Very close to train station and tourist marina both an 8 minute walk , 7 minute walk to beach. Host was very accomodating, an excellent experience. Would highly recommend. Newly renovated apartment lots of resteraunts and shopping nearby, grocery store 100m away if you want to cook, there is a full kitchen.
