Beautiful apartment in secluded part of estate, spacious with everything you need for a relaxing break. Peacocks were lovely to watch, we even saw a new chick taking its first steps.

Outdoor paths running up to entrance, slippery with leaves. On reporting the issue it was rectified immediately. Water temperature for bath only Luke warm.

Level of equipment, comfort and location

Excellent location and the apartment we ended up in was well equipped.

We arrived to accommodation which was a mess with cleaning equipment and materials abandoned, bed not made up, no linen and the whole place had not been cleaned. Although the kitchen trash had been taken away, the bathroom bin had not been emptied. A phone number was provided for the Manager who was off site and she was able to relocate us in alternative and bigger accommodation which was well equipped. Although expensively and stylishly decorated, there were details that let the accommodation down. Some lights did not work, the TV was too high on the wall, damage to a worktop trim had not been repaired and there was a collection of dusty plastic plants totally at odds with the decor and ambience of these beautiful old buildings.
