About this house rental
This monumental house from 1917 was completely renovated in 2003 and 2021 and is offered fully equipped. The property was formerly known as SlagerijKapteijn and is located in the quiet village center of Maasland. All primary facilities (stores and restaurants) are within walking distance. Within 20 min you are by car in cities such as Delft, Rotterdam, The Hague or on the beach of Hoek van Holland. In the immediate vicinity are walking, cycling and boating routes through the polders or forest.
Parking is free and can be found on the public road around the house and there is a bus stop within walking distance.
The house is great for couples looking for a central place to explore the western part of the Netherlands or expats who come here temporarily to work and live in the area. Although there is only 1 bedroom, with approximately 30 m2 of space it is possibly suitable to add a crib.

We loved this apartment situated on the pretty canal through Maasland. The apartment and the village were just what we were hoping for. The flat is a spacious and well furnished conversion of an original butcher's shop and the addition of the wall photos of how it used to be made it so much more interesting.
Contact with Steven the owner was easy and he was at the parking area to meet us and to show us the apartment, and on hand throughout the week if we had any queries. Parking was just a few yards away behind the apartment.
The apartment is well equipped for a week’s stay with fridge/freezer, oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher etc, good ensuite bathroom and separate loo. It is only a few minutes’ walk to the supermarket which is open 7 days a week until 9pm most evenings.
When we weren’t out visiting friends and other parts of Holland, we loved being able to sit on the terrace by the canal and look up the road towards the church and the pretty village. The apartment is in a central location in Maasland, lovely to walk around the village, easy to reach the main road to get to other towns and cities, and only a few minutes from the ferry at Hoek van Holland.
If we need to stay in Holland again, we will definitely aim to return here. Thank you Steven for the warm welcome and a wonderful week.

We could not be happier with everything, and we would surely recommend this VRBO to anyone wanting to stay in Massland.
