From the very start it was an excellent stay, the welcome from Sally, the lovely welcome pack, including some lovely homemade cakes and a good selection of cheeses and jams.
The accommodation is set out well, with everything you need for a short stay. The kitchen equipment is of high standard. The grounds are beautiful and very relaxing. A short walk to the bottom of the garden finds a couple of seats where you can sit with a glass of wine watching over the green hills of the Tyne valley. It was in a good position to reach Hadrian’s Wall, not from the main shops in Hexham. Highly recommended. Great hosts.
If anything is to be picky about the pillows are a bit too firm for comfort.

Superbly presented property and a really enjoyable stay. Sally and Tim have setup a really super property and in a great location close to amenities in Corbridge.

The little things, the finishing touches were of the highest quality. It really makes a difference. Underfloor heating, top class decor & utensils, wood for the (excellent) burner, welcome pack, coffee machine (wow!), privacy yet a feeling of security, car parking. The Old Workshop is a fantastic destination& we had one of the best weekend stays ever. Thank you so much
