The apartment has a nice garden in a peaceful area. Still, it is close to the center. Restaurants, Lidl, Spar shops are in a walking distance. Perfect place if you want peace, but don't want to get in the car if you need something.
The apartment was clear and nice. In the fridge there were some milk, water and beer waiting for us, which was a nice surprise after our journey on a very hot day. The rooms are cozy and the beds as well. The terrace is also comfortable with a big parasol against the sun. Everything is new and working well.
The owner is very kind, friendly and helpful with perfect English. He advised us which restaurant to choose, and gave us proper info about the adventure parks nearby. The owner lives in the basement, which is a benefit: you won't be disturbed anyhow, but he is close if you need help, or some info.
Some recommended programs nearby:
- Don't miss visiting the Tesla Memorial Center in Smiljan (small village, 5 minutes by car)! It is fun and very interesting, and you can get a family ticket, which is surprisingly cheap.
- Make excursions in Velebit! It is simply beautiful. If you're a biker, you will find biking route guide in the aparment.
- Try one of the two adventure parks nearby. Ask the owner for detailed info.
