We loved our stay! Georgi was an amazing host and welcomed us with rakiya when we arrived. We enjoyed talking with him and learning about Ohrid. He gave great local recommendations - we ended up having dinner at his suggestion two nights in a row! The property was very inviting and had everything we needed, and the view from the room was so beautiful - we couldn’t imagine a more perfect location in Ohrid.

Beautiful location with views of Lake Ohrid and a terrace overlooking the lake. at the heart of the old town. Warm, clean room with access to a small kitchen. Very kind, considerate host Georgi who also offers great day tour options including the National Park.

Privater Seezugang und Lage sind in Wahrheit der einzige Grund diese Unterkunft zu buchen.
Mit Hausherren und Sohn im gleichen Haus zu wohnen hat mich dann doch überrascht. Nebenher werden Kayaks vermietet, wo wildfremde in „unseren Garten“ ein- und ausspazieren - Privatsphäre ist etwas anderes. Check in war zu spät, Klimaanlage kostet extra und der polizeilichen Meldepflicht für Touristen ist er auch nicht nachgekommen. Zum Abschied hat der Hausherr noch ein Kätzchen aus seinem Garten per Fusstritt hinausboxiert. Das Leben mag an diesem Ort nicht das einfachste sein und Touristen können anstrengend sein, aber dann sollte man anderen Tätigkeiten nachgehen.
