It’s a lovely hotel - looks the part with four poster bed etc, service was good with friendly staff.
You could hear everything in adjoining rooms, plus the washing powder they used was likely biological which caused my wife’s sensitive skin to flare up. Breakfast on the go was poor - fruit salad that was out of date.

As an older building, noise from other guests carried through the rooms.
We were on the ground floor, The Library Suite, so right next to the dining room, and we could hear guests upstairs talking, walking and their TV late into the night.
This wouldn't stop me from staying again. However, I would request an upstairs room next tome.Something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper.

its old and historic with charming sitting rooms and breakfast room
it is not in town - not on a bus route - if you dont have a car - transport is taxi - its costly if u add it up
taxi to airport also costs more from here.
