This is an eco friendly solar-powered home with a 23-panel 6.7 kW solar array on the roof. Guests are provided with a recycling bin and a food scrap bin for City compost pickup.
This unit is a fully permitted legal short-term rental approved by the City of Portland. Don't risk your trip on an illegal rental that could be shut down!

I’ve stayed here 3 times. It is located less than a mile from my daughter’s rental that she shares with other female students at UP. I feel safe, comfortable, cozy and totally at home at Fireplace Flat. My daughter sometimes stays with me and feels just at comfortable. It is my “go to” accommodation whenever I’m in town to see my daughter.

We stayed at this property while getting our daughter moved into UP. Rebecca was great to work with, very helpful. The space was very clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance to the university which made it easy for our daughter to come and go as she needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Can't say enough good things about our stay. Super clean and modern with everything you need and MORE!!!
It just happens we were only blocks away from my sister and her family which make this very convenient. Certainly plan on visiting again. Thank you.

I'd strongly recommend this spot to anyone looking to stay near the University of Portland. It's a short walk to the university, or an even shorter walk to a number of restaurants and bars. The space was immaculately clean, check in could not have been easier, and communication with the host was nearly instantaneous. It's a good amount of space with just about any convenience you could want. In-unit laundry and plentiful charging cables were especially nice touches. The weather was also blazing hot during our stay, but the unit stayed cool throughout.
