Supermarket 1.3 km, restaurant 100 m, bicycle rental 850 m, 17 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Winkelmatten Kapelle" 100 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 1.6 km. Mountain railway, gondola lift 450 m, ski rental 850 m, ski bus stop 100 m, ski school 1.2 km, children's ski school 1.2 km. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. Please note: Additional accommodations can be booked.

Out of all the bathrooms (6) only one had a trashcan.Only one had an actual shower. (all the bathrooms have a tub with a hose.)The TV worked some of the time. No instructions on anything. (Stove, washer etc) Very hot house with no instructions to adjust (other than to open windows) Washing machine would jump 3 to 4 feet forward and try to pull out off the wall, with no instructions on how to handle it. No paper towels.No dishwasher detergent.Electricity went out in the basement. Key fobs to enter the house did not work.You must carry the suitcases to the house up a hill, no way to carry the suitcases flat or on a ramp. This is very poor when there is ice and snow out and dangerous.To anyone thinking about renting this house, be aware the bus and taxis do not come to the house. You must walk…up hill. It is not easy to find. On a positive note, the house is as cozy as can be.
