Good location, well designed. Great for a weekend with family. Fab to have bread, milk, eggs and filter coffee. That was most appreciated

Could benefit from having a washing up bowl and wooden spoon utensils and a roll of foil and cling film to help visitors.

Great central location, lovely decorated home. Personal touches like the bread, eggs and milk were a lovely thing to find, very much appreciated. You can tell the host puts a lot of thought and effort into it. Fantastic communication from the host regarding checking in and helpful info like parking details.

Think there needed to be an air freshener or some plug in, in the living room as you walked in. Just smelt slightly damp in that area but old terraces are like that and it didn’t bother us. We stayed as a group of 4 and other than the dining room table, there wasn’t a comfy place to sit as a 4 really. First world problems for sure, and just personal preference but other than that cannot fault anything!

Such a lovely little find Stayed here over the weekend while attending a wedding in Clitheroe and it was honestly perfect from start to finish. The cottage itself is gorgeous – really quirky, full of character and felt so cosy as soon as we walked in. The location couldn’t have been better – right in the heart of Clitheroe with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, plus supermarkets just a short walk away which made everything really easy. There were also some really thoughtful touches on arrival like eggs and bread, which we really appreciated after travelling – it’s those little things that make such a difference. Darryl, the owner, was great throughout – really clear and helpful with all the booking info, key lock details and nearby parking, so everything was completely stress-free. Would 100% recommend and we’ll definitely be back in the future 🫶
