The house was very spacious, well taken care of and clean. We ran into minor issues but Thomas quickly responded and resolved.
We had 3 families and children aged 3-17 and the home had something for everyone. We cooked all week and the kitchen was well equipped with all utensils and extra things we needed for making meals.
The views are incredible and indescribable. It was truly breath taking. This home is on the TOP of the mountain so the wind was extremely strong. It is at least 10 degrees warmer at the bottom of the mountain. We did get unexpected snow two days so that was a wonderful surprise for the trip. The kiddos loved playing in it.
We definitely want to come again!!

Our stay at Belle Glades was wonderful! We woke up to clouds surrounding the house with the landscape peaking through the top. Sunsets were vibrant and could be seen from the gathering room and main decks. The fire pit was well lit and large enough to fit a big family around for smores etc. plenty of cookware already present, games for toddlers downstairs, foosball and ping pong upstairs. Kids in our group ranging from 2 to 17 never really got bored, though having internet access helped with the oldest. Yes, for those wondering.. the internet speed was ample enough to stream TV/Netflix etc. on main TV while also having a few other devices running. Minor hiccups here and there, but that’s really to be expected.
The only con I can think of from a vacationing perspective is that it is a trek to venture off to attraction areas. It takes ~20min to get down to 40/23 (main thoroughfares) from the house. So if you’re heading anywhere other than Asheville, you’ll be driving a while. For us, Bryson City took ~1hr15 and Gatlinburg area a little longer, Grandfather mountain longer still. So there is a bit of a travel trade off, but one that was well worth it in our opinion.
Simply put.. if getting away from it all is your goal like it was ours, you definitely won’t be disappointed. The views alone… And don’t worry, the main Canton exit with an Ingles with Starbucks and some fast food options is just a quick trip down the mountain.

The house was set on top of the mountain with incredible views. We had unforgettable time at the house, and the snow made even more fun. The homeowner was super reasonable and communicated very well as we were unsure if the snow was going to be a issue. Thankfully we able to enjoy our weekend on top of the mountain in a house with so much to do. If you’re looking for a spacious house with plenty to do. This is the perfect spot.

We rented this house for 4 nights and we regret not staying longer! This house is amazing in every way. The home looks exactly like it does in the pictures. Not a single detail of the home overlooked and the walking trails were an excellent touch.! The views of the mountains were gorgeous and can be seen from every room. No detail was overlooked! We cannot wait to come back.!
