Everything was clean and tidy. Plenty of towels, trash bags, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper which are things we tend to go through a lot of with 7 vacationers at once so it was very nice to not have to worry about running to the store to get more. The things we missed were measuring cups/spoons and casserole dishes. The kitchen had the bare basic plates, bowls, utensils, a couple pots, a couple skillets, and a couple baking sheets. We expected a few more basic kitchen items to be available. Part of what we loved was the quiet country location, however when arriving after dark the property is difficult to see. A reflective numbering on the mail box, or even some solar garden lights somewhere would go a long way aid in illuminating the driveway/house entrance.

The home is a beautiful home in the country, but close to town. It had a well stocked kitchen. The home was beautifully decorated.

Sardis lake has an EXCELLENT sand swim beach 10 minutes from the house. The kids loved swimming there. There is no marina on Sardis lake so you will need to bring your own boat (no rentals). Our family enjoyed Robbers Cave which was only a 45 minute drive. Nice fire pit. Beautiful forested hills all around. The Dollar General is 4 minutes away. The house is big. Two big master bed rooms at opposite ends of the house (king beds) with a 3rd bedroom (queen bed). Plenty of extra space for a family of five.
