This is more of a 3.5 but I’m not able to give 1/2 stars. The cabin was not as pictured. Furniture and even some paint is different. Not a huge deal however, the pull out couch was upstairs in the loft instead of on the bottom floor. The railing for the loft is extremely low, we didn’t feel comfortable having our kids sleep up there.
Also, the instructions for check in are incorrect. We were directed to look for the black gate for the lockbox however, the gate is green. Didn’t take long at all to figure out, but it would still be nice to be given accurate instructions.
The signs inside the cabin are also clearly outdated, as they all noted check out was 11am. We were hopeful perhaps we’d have some leeway in getting out of the cabin. But even BEFORE 10am, housekeeping was knocking on the door.
Also asked if we can check in 20 mins early as the fog was heavy driving in. We were told housekeeping was still at the house. We were understanding of this but when we got to the cabin, the housekeeping log noted they were done cleaning at 9:30am.
Overall it was a nice stay. We were able to have a nice meal inside the cabin, plus heating worked well, nice view from the deck. Good location to SkyPark Santa’s village. Cabin was also clean and had many amenities (toothbrush, extra soap, etc lots of blankets and towels).
