About this house rental
Cox Hill House is a large house with an emphasis on family stays.
Cox Hill House consists of the following:
1 king size ensuite room upstairs
1 king size room upstairs
2 twin bed rooms upstairs
1 downstairs king size.
There is an upstairs toilet and basin and downstairs a family bathroom
There is a lounge with large wood burner, dining room, conservatory, utility and large, well equipped kitchen.
Cox Hill House is situated 15 minutes west of Truro and 15 minutes to the east of Redruth and less than 30 minutes to either the north or south coast.
We are in a rural location yet less than 10 minutes to the main bus routes to Truro, St Ives and beyond.
Our location is very peaceful and quiet, we have a large garden safe for children and dogs.
We are surrounded by bridle ways and public footpaths allowing you to explore the area on foot or bicycle. We are situated within a world heritage mining site and you can go and explore the old mining houses that are right on our doorstep. The Bissoe to Portreath cycle trail can be joined at the bottom of our lane.
If shopping is your thing then Truro is the place to visit for retail therapy.
We really are very central to most attractions and if you have had a busy day sight-seeing, on the beach or shopping then coming back to Cox Hill House is the place for you to come and relax!
We live next door in a separate property so quite often one of us is around to offer help and assistance when or if needed.
The bit we don’t like writing below:
DOGS - We love dogs, we have 7 of our own. We welcome dogs to the house but in order for us to carry on inviting holiday guests and their dogs you must not allow them upstairs. If your dog has to sleep upstairs then regretfully we have to request you not to bring them with you. We will make an additional charge for cleaning if this house rule is broken. Please don’t ruin it for others, we really don’t want to stop dogs coming on holiday with you, We try to be flexible and very accommodating when it comes to dogs, we are flexible on the number you wish to bring. We have a huge, safe garden. There is plenty of room for the dogs to rest and sleep in the kitchen, utility and conservatory at night and we can provide door gates too.

Perfect place to stay! The house and garden is amazing. Lovely and clean with everything you could need for a long or short break away. We were having a friends group trip away and we loved spending the evening at the large table
to play games or relaxing in the garden. We would highly reccomend cox hill house to anyone and we hope to stay again in the future. Owners were also amazing and very helpful/friendly should you need anything.

A perfect place for us to gather to attend a family wedding nearby and to enjoy some relaxation after the celebrations. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed with everything you could need. I would thoroughly recommend it.
